Home Cell Bible Study - Perris, CA

There is a home cell at the Perris residence of Michael and Rebecca Bixler on Wednesday nights at 7pm. God’s Word is being studied with the Book of Books Study Book, being lead by Tom Henes. People living around Perris and in neighboring cities are welcome to join, and learn how to have enriched life with God. Be sure to bring a bible so that you can walk through the riches of God’s Word.

Prayer remains an important area of spiritual authority and life at Calvary Deaf Church. Presently, there are two Prayer/Bible Studies groups: one in Perris, California and the other one in Country Estates in Mira Loma, California. There are plans to establish more Prayer/Bible Study groups in individuals’ homes.

Prayer happens in many different ways: privately and publicly as well as individually and corporately. A Bible study and Prayer group is usually 3-6 individuals who set their own time, place, duration, and frequency of meetings.

The aim is to pray for the ongoing life and witness of God’s people as well as understanding the Bible.  In addition, it provides an opportunity for the group to share more personal concerns, or more general subject such as conflicts in the world.

It is a worthy exercise. It only takes one brave soul to approach another with the idea of Bible study, and to pray together to form a group. I encouraged people to consider forming new Bible study and Pray groups.

Most who have experienced one of these groups have benefited greatly, and have found a greater power to follow God in a new and wonderful way. They have been able to reach several who do not have a home church of their own, and those who are hungry for God’s Word.  We, at Calvary Deaf Church, have been experiencing great moves of the Holy Spirit in the services when all come together on Sundays and Tuesdays. I would be pleased to speak to anyone who would consider starting a Bible study and Prayer group in their homes. Prayer and Bible are important to the spiritual life of each individual, and the life at Calvary Deaf Church.
